Genuine Japanese binchotan charcoal from the Ubame oak with extremely high density. The carbon percentage is 95% which leaves hardly any ash. The burn temperature is very high and the burn time very long. When you finish your grilling session, Binchotan is easy to reuse. Quenching can be done in 2 ways: close your konro grill or with quenching in water (in a steel bucket, never in your grill!).
